Lake houses are great. You can waterski, fish, kayak, etc. But wait… those are all summer activities. That means our lake house is only good to have for half of the year, right? Wrong. You can do all sorts of things at your Rosewater lake home in the winter.
For starters, you can ice skate. If you have kids, or are a kid at heart, this is the perfect activity for you! When you lace up your skates, you’ve instantly got a few hours worth of activity ahead of you. You can either choose to calmly skate circles into the ice and spend your afternoon in a chilly meditation. Or, for the more thrill-driven and athletes in the bunch, you could find some friends to join you in a hockey game! For hockey all you will need is a goalie net on both ends of the ice, a hockey stick for each person participating, and a hockey puck (or a ball can work, too).
Next, if you live at Rosewater in the winter, you could choose to take your winter activities to a higher altitude. Whitefish Mountain Resort, a well-known ski area, is just minutes away from your front door. Here, you will find some of the best skiing and snowboarding around! While you’re up there, you may choose to take things easy and hit a couple of the lower-level runs, then grab a tasty beverage and meal while sitting by the fireplace inside their gorgeous lodge. However, if you need something to get your adrenaline pumping they’ve got plenty to keep you occupied!
As a homeowner at Montana’s premier waterski community, you will have plenty to do, whether the sun is shining or the clouds are dropping snow.
